Geography of Switzerland
The southern half of Switzerland is all mountain range with some rivers and lakes. The towns in the southern region are smaller and pretty secluded. The top half is plateau and forest. Most of the rivers and lakes are located in this section. This is also where most of the cities are located. The three largest cities are located in this region, on the plateau.
The Jura is a limestone rock and forest region, the Mittelland is a plateau section, and the Alpen is a mountain range.
